Tooth Brushing Timer is a simple, standalone utility app developed by Anna Dent Limited. It provides a two-minute brushing timer split into four 30-second quadrant guides, with progress animations and a completion screen.
This policy explains our data practices in full. The short version: we collect nothing. The app runs entirely on your device, requires no account, and sends no data anywhere.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
Tooth Brushing Timer does not collect, store, process, or transmit any personal information. We do not collect:

- Health or dental usage data

3. App Permissions

All functionality — the countdown, quadrant progression, animations, and celebration screen — runs locally on your device with no connectivity required.
5. Third-Party Services
The app integrates no third-party libraries that collect data. Specifically, there are no analytics platforms (e.g. Firebase Analytics), no advertising networks (e.g. AdMob), no crash reporting services (e.g. Crashlytics), and no social media SDKs. The only frameworks used are Android Jetpack Compose and the Kotlin standard library — standard Android development tools that do not independently collect user data.
6. Data Storage
No user data is stored by the app. There is no local database, no external storage writes, and no SharedPreferences storing any user-identifiable information. Timer state (running / paused / done) exists only in memory and is discarded when the app is closed.
7. Children’s Privacy
Tooth Brushing Timer is a family-friendly utility suitable for all ages, including children. Because the app collects no data from any user, it is fully compliant with COPPA and the UK Children’s Code by design.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and publish the revised policy on the Google Play Store listing. Given that the app collects no data, we do not anticipate changes will be necessary.
